HYDROTHERAPY spa sessions $50 per baby

Come and meet other parents and their little ones in a beautiful relaxing environment. Spa Sessions are a fun and social session for you and your little one whilst enjoying the benefits that the Mineral Heated Hydrotherapy Spa has to offer.


The Mineral Hydrotherapy spa session lasts for approximately 30 minutes. In the 30 minutes we will introduce your baby to the water by having you hold your precious one on the side of the spa, whilst running the warm water over their feet and hands to build up a trusting and fun atmosphere. Whilst on the side of the spa and depending on the float we are using,  we are able to then place the light weight float around the neck or introduce one of the other floats to your little one. Then your little one is ready to go into the spa. 


If it is your little ones first time, we allow your little one to explore free movement in the spa with you watching on and interacting with your baby for the initial 5 to 10 minutes, after your little one has built up confidence we are able to stimulate your little ones sensors by blowing bubbles with one of our many bubble blowers. For the last 5 to 10 minutes we turn on the air jets which helps your little one release endorphins that create a sense of happiness. Your little one will remain in the spa for approximately 15 to 25 minutes.

PRIVATE SPA SESSION - $60

Enjoy an exclusive individual session with a Health Professional Team Member.

 

This session gives your little one a spa all to themselves, allowing for more family members to attend and watch your little ones session. Watch through the glass window, as your little one is able to kick and move freely in a weight free environment.

 

The Mineral Hydrotherapy spa session lasts for approximately 30 minutes. Heated Mineral Hydrotherapy has many benefits to assist many of our special needs babies and children.  We provide an exclusive one on one relaxing session with one of our Health Professional, we will work with you to design a plan that is specific and centred around helping your child to reach their specific goals.

Our Physiotherapist Brendan, has a passion for working with children and it shows in the big smiles he receives from our clients. Brendan will work with you and your little one to design and develop a plan incorporating hydrotherapy to reach the goals set out in your NDIS plan. Brendan will work with your little one in the mineral enriched hydrotherapy spas followed by fun activities in the activity room. 

The combination of minerals, heat of the water & hydrotherapy spa jets offer a therapeutic & relaxing session whilst offering a sensory filled experience enhancing cognitive development.

PRIVATE SPA AND MASSAGE $120

 

The Mineral Hydrotherapy Spa and Massage session is a beautiful relaxing session that lasts approximately 60 minutes. The session consists of a Mineral enriched Hydrotherapy Spa session that lasts for approximately 15 to 30 minutes as previously described followed by your fully trained Health Professional giving your little one a 15 to 30 minute massage using many techniques including reflexology and Indian massage, to fully relax your baby. The massage is able to be achieved in a few ways depending on what you would like.

 

The massage can allowing for parents to learn some basic techniques as we can talk you through the process, or you are able to sit back relax and watch, to you participating in the massage.

Why Water Immersion?

Research has shown Water Immersion into hydrotherapy spa helps baby to improve their body systems by strengthening bones and muscles, increasing circulation and digestion, stimulating reflexes, and supporting healthy respiratory and cardiovascular development. It can also boost cognitive and fine and gross motor-skills development.

Many parents who bring their child to this therapy find their baby is able to settle better of a night and obtain a fulfilling sleep. Water Immersion has been known to help with several mild medical issues your baby might be facing some of the common alignments being relief from colic and reflux.

Our Water Immersion experience

My Baby Bubble offers two areas with both individual and group spas. Individual spas are for babies aged newborn to 2 months as well as unvaccinated babies. The larger spas are used for babies aged 2 months to 12 months of age who have been immunised as well as group sessions.

One-on-one spa and massage session – A staff member is allocated to the baby for 60-minutes. The session time is dependent on your baby’s tolerance to the experience and will lengthen with each session. Your baby will be in the water anywhere from 15-30 minutes each session. The staff member is constantly looking for the smallest of cues from your baby on when they have reached their limit. With each positive experience and continual visitation, your baby will enjoy longer sessions in the water lasting up to 30 minutes each time they come. With your baby relaxed after their spa, our staff member will follow up with a baby massage using techniques in Swedish and Indian massage, Yoga and Reflexology.

*If your baby is not in the spa for less than 15 minutes or does not want a massage, My Baby Bubble staff will offer a free spa or massage treatment for another day.  This is up to the discretion of the staff.

Group spa sessions – Up to six babies can use a spa during a group session.  These group sessions can be booked through one person and paid for separately on the day of the session. Appropriate staff member ratios are allocated to the number of babies in the spa.

Our spas also cater to the needs of Physiotherapists, and Occupational Therapist for children and adults. Bookings can be made through your therapist.

Health and safety is paramount, and our group spas have UV, ozone and osmosis filtration systems fitted. The water is specially formulated to work at 37degrees Celsius, the core temperature of babies basal temperature. The filtration system is cleaned weekly and on a monthly basis we drain, clean and sanitize each group spa. In addition, there are shut-down valves fitted in the rare occurrence of nappy leakage.

Our single spas are cleaned, filled, emptied and cleaned again with each baby.
